I have always lived in North Georgia. And i know what to expect as far as weather and temperatures this time of year.
But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
When I was attending West College many of the houses that were student rentals had no air conditioning. And in August any one of my friends that had a window air conditioning unit had many folks come to visit to listen to the stereo or watch TV.
Those were fun social events.
I live in an old house that uses window units. The one in the bedroom makes sleeping very comfortable.
The unit in the living area is just a beast. It even has a thermostat and a display to tell the room temperature. In this small living area 76 is just fine.
The best part is the noise. It sounds like summer.
I did go outside right before sundown. I looked at the trees and the leaves are starting to droop. And the sunset looked like autumn.
I guess this is a transition stage….
