I had a paper route with the Atlanta Constitution before I went to college.
My car, then, only had an AM radio. A good friend of mine installed an FM converter. I guess you can estimate my age, LOL!
Some folks that have known me, since God was a boy, started a conversation about classic albums we all loved online.
I have listened to many different types of music on the radio dial in Atlanta.
Georgia State and Georgia Tech had great radio stations that played music under different formats. Georgia State played obscure bands from all over the country. WSB played standards that my parents loved. I liked them as well and I would sing along with Walt, my Dad, while riding in his old convertible Pontiac.
So, I had to run a few errands this morning. The radio was off in the car which was odd.
I turned the radio on. My dear sweet husband had dialed up for me a station that played R&B from back in the day.
Oh, my! What great music.
And I sang along all the way home.
